2024 was a combination of reflection and looking to the future. As I turned 85 this September, I realized I have outlived my father and mother’s age of leaving this place. I am the oldest of six siblings and now the two next to me are gone. I must be getting towards the goal post. God has been an amazing part of the past 51 years since I turned my life over to Him through my encounter with Jesus.

I shudder to think where I would be if I had not made that choice. I am passionate to bring the Good News to those who have heard the Word but have made a choice not to follow the voice of the ONE who Loves them so.

I am pretty much like others who look at the chaos and confusion we are living in today and am not pleased.  After years of reading God’s Word, fellowshipping with believers of God’s promises, realize He is still on the throne.

Being a man who has been on his own since 16 years old, served in the military during the 1950’s I have the “Old Attitude” of self-sufficiency. That sometimes gets in the way of letting God handle the steering wheel. However, after going through losing a business, recovering from addiction, losing everything and eventually losing the love of 58 years, through it all Jesus was at my side and continues to lead me until the day I pass that goal post and win the heavenly touchdown.

God is my Promise.
