Give Back to the Community
At Praise and Worship we encourage people to give back in many different ways. We have numerous service opportunities with our ministry to the poor, where we partner with Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank, Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program (IHELP), and Mulligan’s Manor group home. From distributing food and cleaning products, to spending the night helping with the IHELP program, you are sure to find something that interests you and would greatly impact our community.
We also have opportunities to serve within the church: we are always looking for people to help with cleaning, greeting, and hospitality. Are you tech savvy? Join the Audio Visual team and get the chance to help out in the sound booth! We greatly appreciate all our volunteers, wherever they choose to serve!
Why Give?
Proverbs 21:26 says, “The righteous gives and does not hold back.” Here at Praise and Worship, we believe that God blesses a cheerful giver. Everything we have has been gifted to us by God, and when we give back generously, we are directly impacting our community and changing lives for the better while bringing honor and glory to Him. Whether with time, money, or resources, God honors all giving!
Make a Difference
Here at Praise and Worship Center, we believe that it is our responsibility to care for those in our community. We have many opportunities to car for our community: classes to further spiritual education, ministries and support groups to encourage and build each other up, and outreaches to minister to the sick and poor, to name a few. We believe it’s our duty to be a light to our community, but we can’t do that alone. We need your donations of time and money in order to keep our doors open and by your generosity we can continue to impact our community and change people’s lives for the better!
Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
